ADI材料概述 上世纪30年代初,E·S·Davenpon和E·C·Bain在研究钢的冷却速度与性能的关系时,发现钢在奥氏体处理后并经一定温度保持,得到针状铁素体和一定介面上沉淀的碳化物共析组织,具有良好的综合性能。这种组织后来被称为贝氏体。在较低温度保持,形成针状铁素体和铁索体内部一定晶面上沉淀的碳化物的混合物成为下贝氏体。在较高温度保持,形成板条状铁素体和板条周围沉淀的碳化物的混合物组织称为上贝氏体,按现在对贝氏体的分类还有其他各类贝氏体,这种热处理工艺叫做等温淬火,一定成分的球磨铸铁经等温淬火后得到的铸铁材料就是等温淬火球墨铸铁——ADI 主要性能 比强度高,疲劳强度高,耐磨性能好,吸音效果好,用以代替钢件可降低生产成本减低工件重量。 ⑴ 价格成本低 每公斤ADI比锻钢,铸钢,铸铝要低,如果以屈服强度的成本计算,ADI是最便宜的材料 ⑵ 比重比钢小 ADI的比重由于在其组织中有近10%左右的石墨,故同一体积的零件比锻钢要轻约10%。 ⑶ 综合性能优良 强度和伸长率都很高,具有优良的动态力学性能,比锻钢,铸钢以及微合金钢要好很多,在数百万次交变载荷作用后,抗疲劳性仍保持不变,缺口敏感性小(敏感系数2.2—2.4) ⑷ 减音效果好 ADI中的石墨,具有很好的吸音效果,故ADI零件工作时噪音小,这对汽车与各种其他运转的机器十分有利。 ⑸ 吸震性好 ADI弹性模量(E=1700Mpa)比钢的弹性模量(E=2100Mpa)低20%,所以吸震性好,组织有石墨球,能快速吸收震动,使机件运转平稳。 ⑹ 好的抗摩擦磨损性能 因ADI中存在石墨球,能降低摩擦系数和运转温度,ADI零件在表面应力作用下,奥氏体中的高碳奥氏体有一部分转变为稳晶马氏体,提高了表面层硬度,改善抗磨性,而新的次表面又不断发生以上过程,因此与同样硬度的钢相比,它的中晚期寿命更长。 ⑺ 通过热处理即能得到球墨铸铁等温淬火ADI 在一般球墨铸铁的基础上(指化学成分,熔炼方法,浇铸处理,铸造工艺等)增加了一个二阶段等温热处理工序。给它带来力学性能高的优点。同时又保留了原有铸造工艺的好处,如可制造复杂形状零件,可对材料进行回用,生产成本低,可批量生产等等,在很多场合,可取代钢或者铝的零件。 其他优点: 减轻及其重量 减少燃料,动力消耗 提高及其效率 改善环境污染 节约成本开支,提高效率效益 ⑻ 铸造工艺多样性 除球磨铸铁件常用的粘土砂、树脂砂、水玻璃砂等造型外,也有的采用了消失模铸造工艺、V法铸造工艺,也有根据球磨铸铁的凝固特性采用金属型铸造和金属性覆砂铸造,少数ADI管件还采用离心铸造工艺。 热处理工艺对性能的影响 热处理是获得ADI的关键步骤,其工艺合理性与否是直接决定ADI产品的质量。ADI热处理工艺主要包括奥氏体化和等温淬火二阶段。
